ECSL suggestions for economic development of the country was submitted to Hon. Prime Minister on 4th June 2022.

Meeting with Director General Consular Affairs Division of Foreign Ministry was held on 20th December 2021 to reengineer the authentication process of ECSL issued registration certificate.

Interview of Inaugural First Set of Engineering Technicians in the Irrigation Department was held on 17th December The Irrigation Department started the registration of Engineering Technicians. The first set of NVQ 4 qualified Engineering Technicians were interviewed on 17th December 2021.

Meeting with ECSL Chairman and IESL Provincial Center – North Central Province Engineers was held at Irrigation Circuit Bungalow at Padaviya on 21st November 2021.

Meeting was held with TVEC on 5th August to discuss the Technician registration process and Technician quality improvement methods.

A meeting was held on 21st August at ECSL to discuss the concerns related to changes in the scheme of recruitment of Pubic Service Engineers to include the ECSL registration requirements.

Ceremonial inauguration of the Engineering Council held on 17th September 2019 with the participation of HE the President Maithripala Sirisena.
